Part 6 – Create a customer in a2billing on Elastix

This is part 6 of a series of posts on setting up an Elastix extension with A2Billing. See here for details of the other parts – Using A2Billing to account for extension calls in Elastix

Next we are going to create a customer in a2Billing. This will be the customer account for the extension 1000 that we setup in Elastix earlier.

First select CUSTOMERS and then Create Customers -

create a customer in a2billing

Even though there are many settings on the customer setup page we need to set just a few things. They are – make account POSTPAY, enter zero balance and give a credit limit of 50 -

set balance for a2billing customer

setting up a postpay customer

set details for a2billing customer

Check to make sure your customer has been created ok -

check a2billing customer has been created

That’s it for this part. Next we will create a call plan and rate card – Part 7 – Create a call plan and rate card in A2Billing on Elastix

    Hi All,

Am trying to change the account number from it being randomly generated to it being manually entered. Am not really good in PHP coding hence would really appreciate your help if it is possible.

    Thanks

    Hi Kevin,

That’s not something I know how to do unfortunately. The guys at Star2Billing would probably be able to help – http://www.star2billing.com/consultancy/developer-support/
